The Strategy…
We believe that training leaders is essential for accomplishing God’s purpose through the local church. The strategy for producing effective leaders for ministry is to provide them with study opportunities to develop leadership skills and mentoring opportunities to develop spiritual maturity.
Leadership Training (LT) is for men and women who aspire to be mature Christian leaders in their unique roles prescribed in the Scriptures.
LT is designed to assist people who are at different levels of education. Those who are Bible College graduates needing only ministry experience and mentoring could complete their training in a short period of time. Those having a degree but not from a Bible college will need to complete the entire program which normally takes 5–7 years depending on their availability to take courses. Those not having a college degree will be encouraged to pursue their general studies at a local community college while participating in LT. This person should complete their training in 7–10 years.
LT is designed with flexibility in mind. Considering your family, career, and other factors, you go at the pace that is best suited for you.
When you have completed your studies and ministries in LT, you will be equipped to serve as an elder, deacon or pastor in our local church, to assist a missionary in another area of the world, or in other ministry positions as set forth in the Scriptures.
The Board of Elders will grant a “Certificate of Completion” once you have satisfied 103 units of study and various ministry experiences.
The Structure…
